The number of hotels and hotel-type facilities operating in the cities and regions of Azerbaijan for 2024 has been announced.
Citing the State Statistics Committee, that a total of 859 such facilities were in operation last year. Of these, 320 were in the capital city of Baku.
In addition, 60 facilities operated in Khachmaz, 35 facilities in Masalli, and 30 in Lankaran.
There were 32 such facilities in the Guba region, which is considered the main tourism zone, 24 in the Shamakhi region, 22 in Ismayilli, 21 in Gusar, and 20 in Astara.
There was only 1 facility in Dashkesan, Khankendi, Agdam, Fuzuli, Zardab, Kalbajar and Neftchala.
