In January-June 2024, Dubai received 9.31 million foreign tourists, 9 percent more than the 8.55 million registered in the first half of 2023.
Dubai's previous record of attracting 17.15 million tourists last year laid the groundwork for further strengthening of the city's tourism potential in the first six months of this year. So, new records are expected to be recorded in 2024.
In January-June 2024, the Gulf and Middle East countries received 1.27 million (14 percent) and 1.09 million (12 percent) visitors, respectively, accounting for 26 percent of the total tourism flow. Western Europe received 20 percent of tourists - 1.89 million people.
